South Nahanni Airways is proud of their de Havilland Twin Otter. This world renowned short take off and landing (STOL) aircraft is ideal for the remote and challenging terrain of northern Canada and the rugged mountains of BC. The DHC-6 Twin Otter is a turbine powered passenger/cargo aircraft. This multi-purpose twin-engine, high-wing aircraft easily converts from comfortable seating for 17 passengers to full cargo configuration capable of handling large and/or awkward loads. The Twin Otter can be operated on wheels, floats, and skis. It is rugged, versatile and yet operates very well in both the Instrument and VFR environments. It has a 4000 pound short haul payload and a 3000 payload on long trips

The always reliable 206, with a capacity for 5 passengers and a useful load of over 1000lbs is also capable of off strip and short strip performance.
